I've been in the real estate business for over 50 years. Starting out as a real estate agent in 1973, I became a chartered real estate broker and agency manager in 1983. Since then, I've had the privilege of running my own business while accompanying my customers with rigor, integrity and passion.
Teaching has also played an important role in my career. I taught real estate appraisal at the Cégep de l'Outaouais from 1984 to 1992, and contract drafting from 2001 to 2003. Passing on my knowledge has always been a way for me to elevate the profession and contribute to the next generation.
I've been a proud member of several professional organizations since I started out:
- Member of the Real Estate Institute of Canada since 1982
- Member of the Chambre immobilière de l’Outaouais and the Canadian Real Estate Association since 1973
- Former member of the Chambre de commerce de l’Outaouais from 1998 to 2021
- Member of the Knights of Columbus since 1972
Over the years, I have also held a number of elected positions:
- President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Director, Chambre immobilière de l’Outaouais
- President and Treasurer, Québec Federation of Real Estate Boards
- President of the Collège de l’immobilier du Québec and its Fondation
- Director of the Canadian Real Estate Association, both as a Quebec representative and as a nationally elected member
From 2017 to 2023, I also had the honor of serving as a judge on the Licensing and Maintenance Committee of the OACIQ, our profession's regulatory body.
In 2019, I received recognition for my long-standing involvement and commitment to excellence in real estate brokerage.
Today, I continue to practice this profession with the same passion as when I started. My objective remains the same: to offer every customer a human, professional service that lives up to their expectations.
